About the role

As the Adult Safeguarding Team Manager, you will:

Lead and oversee adult safeguarding processes, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, policies, and best practices.

Provide expert guidance and support to social workers and multi-agency partners in safeguarding investigations.

Chair safeguarding meetings and ensure high-quality decision-making in complex cases.

Work collaboratively with external agencies, including health services, police, and voluntary organisations, to drive safeguarding excellence.

Contribute to policy development and service improvements to enhance safeguarding outcomes.

Ensure a person-centred approach, empowering adults to have control over their care and protection.

About you

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced leader who:

Is a qualified social worker (SWE registered) with significant experience in adult safeguarding.

Has a strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding best practices.

Demonstrates excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment and can manage complex cases effectively.

Is passionate about safeguarding and committed to delivering outstanding care and protection
