About the role
Reporting to the Head of Transport and Travel, you will be a dynamic and motivated individual who will oversee all legal agreements for the Transport Planning team and managing legal case work. You will be responsible for advising, supporting, developing, and mentoring staff including management support. You will also manage the commissioning and drafting of Transport Studies/Strategies/Assessments, Public Rights of Way Definitive Map. As well as supporting the Head of Transport and Travel to actively engage in the monitoring, reporting and delivery of performance outcomes.
About you
You will work within a small team of motivated officers, using your leadership skills and expert knowledge of the legal framework and to support the team. The team consist of Transport Policy Planners, Transport Development Planners and Active Travel Officers and has a very varied and dynamic workload. The Transport and Travel Team plays a key role in unlocking the boroughs regeneration aspirations working across all internal and external stakeholders to deliver a range of Transport Infrastructure and Sustainable Transport Projects.
