About the Role

The Triangle Centre is a Haringey Council maintained Nursery it is an innovative nursery with friendly, hardworking, and motivated staff who provide childcare and education for families in our diverse local community. The Triangle Centre has an exciting Reggio inspired environment for children to grow and reach their full potential.
We are looking for a highly creative, passionate, inspirational, and energetic Senior Early Years Officer to support the early year’s practitioners to continue developing and motivating a high level of care, learning, play and education for children aged 6 months to 5 year olds.
We are excited to find a new team member to join our experienced team for the next exciting phase of our development. This will be a great opportunity for you to be part of our vision in being a beacon of childcare and education in the Local Authority.

About You

  • Any applicants will require a minimum of level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development or hold an equivalent qualification.
  • Have experience with working with young children and be a confident key person with solid knowledge of child development, the EYFS, individual learning styles and how to support families through guidance, empathy and partnership working.
  • Be an inspirational role model to children and other colleagues and students.
  • To have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as the lead practitioner within a team.
  • Be an effective team player, being available to pause, support, reflect and enhance practice on the spot as well as through staff discussion opportunities
  • To have experience of leading on planning, be a visionary for new and exciting provocations /activities for children to play and learn.
  • To have experience supporting children with SEND, supporting children with Early years support plans.
  • To have good literacy, ICT, communication and organisation skills
  • To have excellent skills in teamwork, using your initiative and being forward thinking.
