About the Role
We are looking for an Early Years Officer Assistant to work with children aged 2 years to rising 5 year olds.
An Early Years Assistant works under the direction and in conjunction with the Early Years Officer/key person, to support access to care, play and learning for all children.
We are excited to find a new team member to join our experienced team for the next exciting phase of our development. This will be a great opportunity for you to be part of our vision in being a beacon of outstanding childcare and education in the Local Authority.
About You
- Any applicants will require a level 2 in Children’s Care Learning and Development or hold an equivalent qualification.
- Have experience with working with young children and have a thirst for further learning and training
- Be an inspirational role model to children and be passionate about team working
- Have a good level of literacy skills and be a good communicator
- Be an advocate for equal opportunities ensuring each child individual needs are met
