About the role

This is a remarkable time for Property Lawyers within the Council, given our steadfast commitment to advancing high-profile regeneration projects and expanding our housing initiatives across the Borough, coupled with our extensive commercial property holdings. As a vital member of our seasoned team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal guidance to both officers and members on a diverse range of property-related matters. Your duties will encompass overseeing property transactions, negotiating commercial and residential leases, managing lease extensions, and providing comprehensive legal advice as needed. We are actively seeking to onboard a talented legal professional who can bring their expertise to our organisation, whether from a background in private practice or the public sector. About you

We’re seeking a dynamic individual who currently holds the title of solicitor, barrister, or CILEX, and is poised to step into the role of Senior Property Lawyer at Haringey Council. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years PQE in property law in the UK. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with seasoned specialists in property, planning, and regeneration, working alongside fast-paced and forward-thinking client teams. In this pivotal role, you’ll navigate a diverse array of complex property matters, making meaningful contributions to our dynamic environment.
