About the Role

We need a passionate, committed, self-motivated person with some experience of working with children, their families and the community to join our team. As an Early Learning Practitioner, you will work with us to encourage young families to take advantage of the range of community services available to them within the locality.
We are looking for a forward-thinking practitioner with a solution focused attitude who will have innovative ideas to bring to the team. Some knowledge or experience of child development, supporting vulnerable families and working in partnerships with external agencies would be beneficial to the role.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team, who are committed to developing a unique style of service delivery, that will have a positive impact on outcomes for all families with children under the age of five years.

About You

  • To have two years’ experience of working with children and parents in a community based early years setting and of working with vulnerable families.
  • To be organised and IT literate.
  • Knowledge of the ways in which children’s development can be affected by the issues and needs of parents/carers and ways in which parents be.
  • supported effectively in their role.
  • To have two years’ experience of working with children and parents in a community based early years setting and of working with vulnerable families.
  • Relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
