About the role

We’re recruiting three Senior Commissioners to join our Adult Social Care commissioning team. These are key roles for experienced professionals who can lead complex commissioning projects and shape services that make a real difference to residents’ lives.
Our current priorities include:
• Reshaping our supported living market and procurement strategy
• Improving transitions from children’s to adults’ services
• Ensuring the right offer to manage and reduce need, promote independence
• Strengthening our mental health offer
What you’ll do:
• Lead commissioning projects in line with these priorities.
• Work with providers, social care teams, and partners to design and deliver high-quality services.
• Analyse data and market trends to inform decisions and drive improvements.
• Develop and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and strong outcomes.
• Contribute to strategic planning and innovation in service delivery.

About you

  • Significant experience in commissioning or contract management within health or social care.
  •  Strong understanding of market shaping, procurement, and service redesign.
  •  Ability to build relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering results.
