Position: School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA)
Salary: SC1B – £27,345 per annum to be pro-rata
Hours of work: 5hoursper week Monday to Friday,12noon – 1 pm, term time only
Contract Term: Fixed Term, one year
Closing Date: Friday 29th August 2025
Interviews: Week commencing 1st September.
Start date : Monday 8th September 2025

Your role will be to supervise pupils during the lunch period in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises –ensuring the safety, welfare, physical and mental well being of pupils and the maintenance of good behaviour.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has good communication skills and an ability to take on tasks without direct supervision
- The ability to work with arrange of pupils and support their needs
- An ability to work well with others and to work flexibly
- A willingness to undertake training including safeguarding and first aid
