About the role
The Property Debt Recovery Officer role at Haringey Council is a support role responsible to deliver across the Council’s portfolio, assisting with the effective day to day management of the property portfolio and actively pursuing Commercial property debtors to maximise commercial income.
Provide advice in a customer-focused way, ensuring transparency and clear communications with customers, partners and stakeholders, responding to internal and external queries as appropriate in a timely manner, deal with tenant’s queries regarding payments, refunds and non-payment of rent and services, also negotiate and agree payment arrangements.
Support the property team with projects involving back-office support as well as front of house delivery of services as required to assist in maintaining the council’s property interests.
