About the role

Haringey Council is currently seeking a Park Driver to become part of their newly formed Parks Services team. We are in search of a dedicated and passionate individual who can bring their expertise to the team. As a Park Driver, the successful candidate will be excellent at service delivery, communication, and team work. Additionally, as a Park Driver you will promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with current regulations and safety guidelines, particularly regarding all ground’s maintenance, horticultural activities, seasonal works, and traded services. About the team

We are currently looking for individuals who can work effectively in teams of 3-5 people on a day-to-day basis. As a Park Keeper, you will have You will provide an on-site presence in the borough’s biggest and busiest park, Finsbury Park. Mainly based in Finsbury Park, you will contribute to providing high quality grounds maintenance regimes through the use of agricultural and non-agricultural vehicles and techniques. You will occasionally work in other parks and greenspaces, undertaking key works. 

About you

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is committed to maintaining high standards of the local environment. The ideal candidate must be friendly, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a versatile skill set to carry out a range of tasks. The role is varied and requires the ability to handle powered hand tools and drive ride-on machinery and a 3.5T vehicle as well as a tractor, which necessitates a full clean UK driving license.
