About the role

This role forms part of the Dynamic Market’s team, which is income generating and sits’ within the wider Strategic Procurement function. The role is required to establish collaborative procurement vehicles, such as Frameworks, Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS’s), and Dynamic Market Places (DMP’s) primarily for use by Haringey Council but can also be accessed by public sector organisations across London and the Home Counties.

This role will also be required to support a number of internal and external clients with their procurement requirements, which will include pre market engagement activities, running mini competitions or Direct Awards from existing DPS’s and Frameworks through to the award of contracts.

The team has recently gone through a period of change and growth. We are a still a relatively small team with 9 staff from a diverse background. The team all work hard to pull together and support each other to achieve our aims and objectives.

About you

  • Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent and CIPS Level 4 are both desirable.
  • Experience of managing DPS Implementation projects with a range of stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes. 
  • Project management within a complex environment including liaison with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems in a logical and systematic way and identify Best Value solutions based on a thorough understanding of the underlying issues and requirements.
