Position: Teaching Assistant
Salary: Scale 4, £29,346-£30,630 per annum (to be pro rota)
Hours of work: Full Time 32.5 hours – Term Time Only
Contract Term: Permanent

We are seeking to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants who can support all pupils to achieve independence and success through a full, broad and aspirational curriculum.
The successful candidates will assist class teachers to ensure that both the pastoral and academic
needs of the children are fully met and that they go on to meet their full potential.

The successful candidate will need to:
• Have NVQ in learning support or equivalent qualification/experience
• Have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to understand and implement the
school’s behaviour policy
• Be able to understand and support all children, including those with SEND
• Have excellent interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders including children
• Have the ability to work positively with all members of the school community
• Be committed to the school’s wider aims and to enabling our children to be the best that
they can be
