Position: Premises & Maintenance Technician (Multi-School)
Salary: Scale 4 Pt 7-9, per annum to be pro rata
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week, term time only +3 weeks (with weekend and evening work)
Contract Term: Permanent
Closing Date: Monday 15th December 2025 at 12noon
Interviews: : Thursday 18th December 2025
Start date : Monday 5th January 2026
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Premises & Maintenance Technician to join our team across three vibrant Church of England primary schools. In this multi-school role, you will help ensure our sites are safe, secure and well-maintained, supporting pupils, staff and visitors.
Working closely with school leaders and site staff, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, oversee health and safety checks, support contractors, and contribute to the smooth daily running of each school.
Personal attributes
We are looking for someone who:
- Has solid DIY/maintenance skills (plumbing, carpentry, basic repairs)
- Is reliable, organised and able to take initiative
- Can manage workload across multiple sites
- Understands or is willing to learn key health & safety responsibilities
- Communicates well and works effectively with a range of people
