About the role

The opportunity has arisen for a Leasehold Income Officer to join our team to cover maternity leave. In this role, you will be responsible for the recovery of leasehold service charge debt and other recharges, including major works, shared ownership and reserve funds. The main responsibility is ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices, reducing arrears and maximising income, all in line with Council policy, procedures and legal framework.

You will be joining a team who is passionate about providing a high-quality service to our residents. We are dedicated to delivering excellent customer care to our leaseholders, we balance protecting the Councils income streams and maximising collection with empathy for the financial pressures faced by many households today.

About you

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, organised, customer focused individual who enjoys meeting targets and working under pressure. We are looking for someone who is methodical with a strong attention to detail. A professional who is pro-active and can work independently as well as part of a team. You can manage multiple deadlines and can work confidently with Excel.
