About the Role
As our Domestic Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring that Pendarren House provides a welcoming, safe, and high-quality environment for visitors, guests and colleagues. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will supervise and support our cleaning and catering teams while actively contributing to daily operational duties.
Working closely with the Head of Centre, you will organise rotas, oversee stock control and purchasing, maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, as well as supporting the recruitment and development of team members. You will lead by example, ensuring excellent customer service, compliance with health and safety requirements and a consistently positive experience for everyone using the centre.
About the Team
Pendarren House is a residential outdoor education and activity centre within Children’s Services, providing accommodation and hospitality services that support the centre’s wider activities and programmes. The Domestic Team plays a vital role in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
About you
We’re looking for a proactive and approachable team leader who enjoys creating a welcoming environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality services. You’ll be comfortable leading by example, supporting colleagues to perform at their best, balancing day-to-day operational responsibilities with team leadership. You’ll be organised, adaptable and committed to maintaining high standards while providing an excellent experience for visitors and staff alike.
