Position: Teaching Assistant (Supporting and Delivering Learning)
Salary: : Pay Scale Sc6 point 18-20 (£32,562.83 – £33,539.26)per annum to be pro rata
Hours of work: Full time – 36 hours per week – Term Time Only
Contract Term: Fixed Term Contract ending 31st August 2026
Closing Date: Monday 7th July 2025 10.00am
Interviews: Week Beginning Monday 14th July 2025

Successful applicants will have:
- Excellent Literacy and Maths skills
- A passion for educating children with complex needs so that they can reach their full potential
- A track record of delivering excellent provision for children with SEND, and the ability to inspire a team of Teaching Assistants they work alongside to do the same.
- Experience at working strongly in collaboration with others, leading to the best possible outcomes.
- Be an excellent practitioner and role model in classroom and behaviour management.
Some of the key responsibilities are to:
- Plan for and deliver outstanding provision in a high need SEND setting.
- Plan for a team of Teaching Assistants, including their allocation.
- Be responsible for keeping records and updating systems as required by the teacher/SENCO
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with pupils and actively promote the inclusion of all pupils
- Responsibility for pupils; providing support to enhance their learning and social well-being
