Position: Early Years Learning Assistant
Salary: Scale 3- 5, dependent on qualification and experience £25,969 – £28,821
Hours of work: Part Time (35 hours)– Term Time Only
Contract Term: Fixed term contract

St Michael’s CofE Primary School and Nursery is an oversubscribed, vibrant school with an excellent reputation in the local and wider community. Our children are enthusiastic, inquisitive and eager to learn.
We are looking to appoint to 2 new Early Years practitioners within our nursery team. Your main duties will be to support pupils in their learning and development. You will act as a key person for a group of children providing each child with continuity of care and learning throughout the child’s time at St Michael’s nursery.
At St Michaels we offer dedicated Early years wraparound care and we are looking for hardworking, motivated individuals who will continue the care of our nursery children from 7.30am in Breakfast Bunnies or until 6pm in Night Owls in 2 separate shift patterns.
You must have a level 3 childcare qualification. We require individuals who are committed to working within the framework of the school’s policies and ethos and who will contribute to the development of the whole school.
