About the role
We are looking for an experienced health and social care tutor to deliver on our SWAP and pathway to employment programmes. The post holder needs to deliver high quality learner centred teaching, providing stimulating, employer engaged sessions co-designed by either DWP or Haringey Works for their clients who wish to work in the Care sector.
Post holders need to have experience of intensive programmes, which require robust organisation, IQA and assessment. they need to be flexible and have high aspirations for their learners. as part of the functional skills and career development this postholder will also need to collaborate with colleagues to deliver these multi qualification programmes.

About you
We’re looking for someone with the ability to teach to a high standard across courses designed for learners with diverse needs and backgrounds. You’ll bring strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a whole-service approach to delivery. You should be a qualified teacher holding a PGCE or Level 5+ teaching qualification, along with subject specialist qualifications at Level 3 or above. A solid understanding of adult learning and employment-related provision is essential, as is experience in quality assurance and assessment practices.
