Hours of work: 36hourd per week, –All Year(52 weeks)

Contract Term: Permanent

Park View School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and dedicated Inclusion and Pupil Intervention Officer to join our Inclusion Faculty. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our SENDCo, Head of Inclusion, and Head of EMA with the day-to-day coordination and administration of our Inclusion provision.

You will have a central role in ensuring the smooth running of the Inclusion Faculty, managing key administrative processes and ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise daily with the SENDCo, Head of Inclusion, and Head of EMA to support the operational running of the Inclusion Faculty.
  • Manage all administration related to the SEND Code of Practice and its implementation at Park View.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant records in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.
  • Oversee and coordinate the administration of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring timely reviews and documentation.
  • Manage the transition process for SEND and EMA students joining Park View from primary schools, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition.
  • Remain fully updated with current legislation, including:
  • The SEND Code of Practice 2015
  • The Children and Families Act 2014
  • The Equality Act 2010
  • GDPR 2018
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of SEND terminology and statutory requirements.
  • Be vigilant in safeguarding procedures and ensure compliance with the school’s safeguarding policies, attending relevant training as required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role within an educational or SEND environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND processes, legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and ICT skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
