Position: Class Teacher with TLR – Core Subject Lead

Salary: M4 – M6 (£46,399-£52,300 per annum) + TLR2b (£5,869 per annum)

Hours of work: Full time, Monday to Friday (32.5 hours per week)

Contract Term: Permanent

Closing Date: Friday 5th December 2025, 12:00 noon

Interviews: Wednesday 10th December 2025

Start date : Monday 5th January 2026. Later start date would be possible for the right candidate

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and ambitious teacher to join our team and lead a core subject (English, Maths or Science) across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who can inspire others, drive school improvement and take on a leadership role with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR).

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of a core subject across the school
  • Raise standards of pupil attainment and achievement
  • Support and develop the teaching practice of colleagues
  • Monitor and evaluate curriculum impact and pupil progress
  • Contribute to whole-school strategic planning and improvement
  • Model outstanding classroom practice and professional conduct
  • Collaborate with SLT to drive school priorities and initiatives

About You

You will be:

  • A qualified teacher with substantial experience in primary education
  • Proven ability to raise standards and lead curriculum development
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of effective pedagogy
  • Passionate about inclusive education and raising standards for all pupils.
  • Skilled in driving improvement and managing change.
  • Deeply committed to our Christian ethos and values.
