Job description

Position: Breakfast Centre Assistant

Salary: Scale/ SC1B SP2-3 £28,221 – £28,617(Pro-rata-£6,271.33 – £6,359.33)

Hours of work:8 hours per week, all year round, 8:00am-10.00am(Monday-Thursday)

Contract Term: Fixed Term Contract ending November 2026

Start date : As soon as possible, 12-month contract, (this could be extended, budget allowing) working in our nursery classes

We are looking for a minimum Level 2 qualified member of staff who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering high standards of education and care for young children for the following posts: 

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• A passion and commitment to outstanding early years practice.
• The ability to offer excellent care at breakfast and ensure children have the best start to their day.
• Experience of maintaining high standards of care for children at all times.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment in which every child is encouraged to flourish through supported interventions.
