About the Role
The ASB, CCTV & Enforcement Manager is a vital leadership position focused on enhancing community safety and quality of life across our public spaces and council-managed housing estates. In this role, you’ll oversee the Council’s frontline response to anti-social behaviour, statutory noise nuisance, and CCTV public realm surveillance. You’ll work with legislation such as the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 and the Environmental Protection Act 1990, ensuring compliance and effective enforcement that meets the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include operational management of a dedicated team, driving performance to meet key performance indicators, and fostering collaboration with partners, residents, and community groups. You’ll also lead the Council’s Public Spaces Protection Orders, support the Community Safety Partnership and other multi-agency initiatives, and manage budgets and contracts to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
This role requires strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage partnerships, influence key stakeholders, and effectively address community concerns. About the Team
We are a small but high performing team, that works collaboratively with a range of internal and external services. ASB Enforcement team covers a locality which comprises of 4 or more wards, undertaking investigations of high level anti-social behaviour. This includes responding to individual reports and undertaking partnership work in relation to hotspots. The team works collaboratively towards a common goal of finding solutions and making a real difference for the people in Haringey.

About You
You are a proactive and experienced leader with a strong background in community safety, anti-social behaviour management, and CCTV operations. You bring a solid understanding of relevant legislation and you’re skilled at interpreting and applying these laws to real-world situations to ensure public safety and security.
With proven experience in managing teams and budgets, you’re adept at driving service performance and meeting key performance indicators. Your ability to engage effectively with community groups, elected members, and partner agencies enables you to build strong relationships and lead collaborative, solution-oriented initiatives that make a tangible difference.
Your communication and interpersonal skills are top-notch, allowing you to navigate complex situations with diplomacy and sensitivity. You’re a natural problem solver, able to remain organised under pressure, prioritise conflicting demands, and handle feedback and complaints with professionalism. With a focus on accountability and service improvement, you’re ready to take ownership of this critical role and drive impactful results for our communities across Haringey.
