Position: School Meals Supervisory Assistant

Salary: : SC1B  £28,617 per  annum to be pro rata 

Hours of work: Monday to Friday,12noon – 1 pm, term time only

Contract Term: Fixed Term, one year

Closing Date: Wednesday 1st October

Interviews: Friday 3rd October 

Start date : Tuesday 7th October 2025

Your role will be to supervise pupils during the lunch period in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises – ensuring the safety, welfare, physical and mental well being of pupils and the maintenance of good behaviour.

We are looking for someone who:

  •       Has good communication skills and an ability to take on tasks without direct supervision
  •       The ability to work with a range of pupils and support their needs
  •       An ability to work well with others and to work flexibly
  •       A willingness to undertake training including safeguarding and first aid
