About the Role
Transport Liaison Coordinator is a key part of the transport team for the Special Educational Needs or Disability (SEND) service in Haringey. The main objective of this team is to ensure that children with SEND not only get to school safely, but also arrive in the best state in which to learn. It is an integral part of ensuring that every child with SEND has full access to learning opportunities.
We are looking for a coordinator who will be responsible for effective communication and coordination between the Home School Transport and parents, carers, schools, and transport providers.

Some key responsibilities include:
Leading, co-ordinating, developing and implementing the delivery of high-quality communications regarding the home to school travel arrangements for Haringey’s eligible residents
Providing professional support, supervision, and performance management for liaison officers within the home to school transport team.

You will have relevant experience in communications and/ or operations. You will have proven success in developing and implementing strategies to ensure a department is engaging with its stakeholders. You can motivate others and to work as a member of a team.
