About the Service

The Early Help Service consists of 3 team managers, 6 senior practitioners, 36 Family Support workers and 1 Business Support Officers. The workforce is very stable, motivated, committed and enthusiastic. The service has manageable caseloads at approximately 25 children per Family Support worker currently with consistently strong assessment timeliness. The service has strong relationships with MASH, The Assessment teams and the wider partnership.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager with a strong background in Frontline Social work. You should be confident with managing teams, understand thresholds and Direct work with families.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring timely and effective decision making, case allocation and effective multi-agency working.
  • Empowering and inspiring our Family Support workers to get the best outcomes for children.
  • Being an active member of the senior leadership group.
  • Accountability for the performance of your team, delivering regular reflective supervision and have the ability to motivate your team to achieve excellence.
