About The Role

Haringey Council are looking for Senior Practitioners to work in the Court Team. We have been through a journey of improvement over the past ten years, with continued aspirations to fulfil the first corporate priority of enabling every child the best start in life. The borough of Haringey is unique with diverse children and families; we are looking for social workers that are ready for a fresh challenge, with the ability to make a real difference to the residents of Haringey borough. 

The successful candidates will join supportive colleagues whose core business relates to long-term child protection within the Court service. The skill base required centre on excellent report writing skills and the ability to manage complex case work.

About You

We are looking for experienced social work professionals with a minimum 3 year’s post qualifying experience, preferably in a similar setting.

You will be responsible for making decisions of initial interventions, including the development of outcomes-based intervention plans. You will be required to manage complex cases, while ensuring the voice of the child is heard and recorded consistently. We are committed to “signs of safety” and need exceptional social workers who are committed to embedding this model of working.
