About the role

The Rent Account Officer role at Haringey Council is a critical position responsible for efficiently managing all accounts within the Council. You will play a key role in setting up and ending all accounts as well as playing an active role with other processes within the team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the organisation.

As an integral part of the team, you will have the chance to work closely with professionals from diverse departments, gaining invaluable exposure to the inner workings of a dynamic and impactful organization. Your efforts will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of our Team, ultimately enabling us to better serve other teams which are impacted with the processes carried out within the Rent Accounts Team.

About the team

The Rent Accounts Team is a small but vital part of Haringey.  We have currently 3 dedicated team members plus a Senior Rent Accounts Officer and the Manager of the team.

About you

We are seeking a proactive individual with a strong drive to excel in Rent Accounts responsibilities.  You will demonstrate impeccable written and verbal communication skills, consistently upholding a standard of professionalism in all interactions. Proficiency in office software is essential and previous experience of NEC would be useful in efficiently managing tasks and facilitating seamless communication within the team.

In addition, the candidate should possess exceptional organizational prowess, adeptly handling multiple tasks and prioritizing them for optimal efficiency. Their demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion will be a cornerstone of their success in this role, ensuring the smooth and secure functioning of Rent Account processes.
