About the Role
The Housing Related Support Team is leading on the design and delivery of new services for single homeless people affected by homelessness in Haringey.
This is an opportunity to work across innovative new accommodation services. As Service Manager you will develop and lead teams of Project Workers to deliver tailored practical support and interventions in partnership with residents and stakeholders.
As Service Manager you will be responsible for the team of practitioners on site, review of key policies, monitoring and reporting of information systems and outcomes.
As the post -holder you would be responsible for ensuring the team deliver a comprehensively assessment of needs, assets, risks and work in partnership to identify future housing options.
You will empower the teams to support residents with community initiatives to connect to foster good relations between those living at the service and those living and working in the local area. You will work with key partners within the community to promote the service.
With experience managing relevant homelessness services you will be responsible for managing key accommodation services for adults at risk of homelessness and rough sleeping in the borough alongside the Rough Sleeping Task Force and our Housing Needs Team. You will:
- Possess experience in staff management, development and support
- Have experience delivering and managing a Psychologically and Trauma Informed Environment
- Feel confident overseeing the Health and Safety of staff, residents and co-located teams including managing building compliance
- Be confident in your ability to deliver a quality and innovative service
- Be solution focussed and motivated to tackle the causes and effects of homelessness with a personalised, collaborative and dynamic approach
- Feel confident working in partnership with a range of internal and external partners
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with personal experience of homelessness, mental health, substance use or criminal justice services and from Black and Minoritised Ethnic communities.

Our Housing Related Support (HRS) Operational Team are provided a range of specialist training and professional development opportunities. Post holders are required to be flexible in their working arrangements. Start time and working location may vary in line with service requirement and to fulfil the requirements of the role. Start times will be no earlier than 8am.
