Salary: PO1 – £35,217 – £37,038 per annum + 31 days annual leave

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Income Officer to join our busy Income Management Team. You will provide a comprehensive Income management service to the residents, supporting them to maintain their tenancies whilst reducing overall debt on a patch of General needs properties.
About you
The successful candidate will need outstanding communication skills and be able to work effectively, both autonomously and within a team. They will have experience of working in a social housing environment with an excellent understanding of Rent Recovery Policies.
They will also need excellent knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits specifically Universal Credit and Housing Benefit to ensure income maximisation.
You should be customer-focussed and be able to deliver tangible outcomes for a diverse range of customers and have had experience of contributing to service improvements and initiatives that have supported an increase in customer satisfaction.
