About Haringey

Haringey is an extremely diverse, vibrant borough and the Council has set clear ambitious objectives through its borough plan to make Haringey a better place to live, encourage investment and create opportunities that all can share. Haringey’s vision for the future is one of sustainable growth, in housing and jobs and on helping our residents and businesses take advantage of that growth. The capital construction project delivery programme of £250m+ aims to deliver world class education environments for all our children and young people, outstanding civic amenities, high quality homes and a reduced carbon footprint.

We have huge ambitions for Haringey. As the shape of local government continues to change, we are determined to rise to the challenge and find new ways to ensure that our residents enjoy the best opportunities in life. Working at Haringey gives you the opportunity to play a part in meeting those ambitions on behalf of everyone who calls the borough their home. Be part of the change transforming Haringey.

We need a Housing IT training specialist who is great with people and able to inspire colleagues to deliver for our residents; and someone who feels just as comfortable creating and delivering on a range of change initiatives.

About the role:

The team you will be working in are resident focussed and see IT as an enabler of better service delivery – we work with colleagues to ensure that we can maximise the benefits of all our systems to improve the customer experience. We work very collaboratively together to foster a strong team spirit, where each member of the team is valued and connected to the all the work that we deliver.

About You

You’ll have a strong background in Housing IT training, ideally using Northgate Housing, with knowledge of the full range of training and change management disciplines. You will be responsible for producing and delivering training and user testing and engagement programmes through a mixture of channels from face to face to videos.

If you are someone who is passionate about using IT to enable change through developing colleagues to make the most of our systems to drive better performance, we want to hear from you.

Benefits

Haringey Council is an employer of choice and offers an extensive benefits package including 30 days annual leave (26 annual leave days + 2 privilege days + 2 statutory days). We offer flexible hybrid working; although for this role we would expect regular on site working to delivery face to face training and change sessions
