About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career joining an Asset Management team embarking on a substantial programme of investment that will have a real impact on our residents’ lives. As part of the Asset Management senior leadership team, you will lead and shape a team of project managers and specialists delivering large scale capital refurbishment and improvement projects across the borough. You will manage large value contracts and the performance of Service Providers and advisors. You will provide expert advice to members and colleagues and work closely with colleagues and teams within Housing and the wider Council. You will have established a successful track record of successful project delivery in a complex housing environment, either local authority or housing association.
About you
You will be an experienced Head of Service or Senior Project Manager with a track record of the successful delivery of major works in a social housing environment. You will be comfortable working in a complex, regulated environment and understand the benefits of good governance. You are innovative, can see the big picture but also happy to roll your sleeves up and delve into the detail when required. You are collaborative and work closely with colleagues across the housing team and the wider organisation. You are a strong leader and can develop and support a team delivering high value projects that have an significant impact on our residents lives.
