About the role
Working at the centre of one of the most exciting and diverse boroughs in London, you will support Cabinet Members in Haringey, helping them deliver for our residents and meet the aims and ambitions of the council.
You will work closely with Cabinet Members, providing executive assistance and support across many areas of their role – including diary management, meeting planning and coordination, administrative and operational support, and internal and external relationship management.
You will be an important point of contact in helping to build and maintain relationships between councillors, senior council officers, residents and key partners.
The role will also enable the right candidate to develop their skills in a range of fields such as stakeholder management, governance and project work.

About the team
The Leader & Cabinet Office is a small team that supports Haringey’s Leader and Cabinet Members. You will be one of two Cabinet EAs alongside a caseworker and strategic advisors (please see the below Job Description for our team structure). It’s a fast-paced office with a strong, collaborative team.
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic person to join us. This is a fast-paced role, so we are looking for someone energetic, adaptable, committed and highly-organised. We work almost entirely from the office and need someone who likes in-person working.
