About the Role

We are looking for excellent Executive Assistants to support a team of Assistant Directors across the broad scope of the Adults, Health and Communities services.

The successful candidate will work closely with Assistant Directors as part of the newly created Business Management Support Team.

They will act as a point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders.  Key areas of work will include the coordination of responses to tasks and requests set by the Assistant Director whilst maintaining deadlines and juggling a busy diary. The provision of minute taking at a range of meetings, and business and administration support to the Assistant Directors as required.

You will also work closely with the rest of the Business Management Support Team to provide consistent, effective, and high-quality assistance to the Senior Management Team, at all times.

About You

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our fast paced and dynamic team. We need a team player who is able to respond to the wider needs of the Service with a flexible and adaptable approach. You will work directly with the Assistant Directors, supporting them as needed to ensure the effective running of the Service areas.

You will be able to influence and build effective working relationships with colleagues and to work well under pressure to resolve problems quickly and effectively. A proactive self-starter with the ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

You will be a confident communicator and be able to build strong working relationships across a variety of functions.

Experience of supporting a fast-paced senior management team preferably within a Local Government environment would be beneficial. Working knowledge in the areas of Housing, Homelessness and/or Adult Social Care would also be helpful.
