The Chief Executive’s Office sits at the heart of the council, working directly with Chief Executive and Corporate Board directors. Busy, fast-paced and demanding, the team coordinates, prepares and advises, helping navigate decision making and dealing with the unexpected.
About the Role
This role is the Executive Assistant to two corporate Directors. You will manage their busy diaries, coordinate meetings, deal with residents, and ensure they are making the best use of their time. You will provide the vital link between and others inside and outside of the organisation, helping build and maintain important relationships including with politicians, partners and key stakeholders. You will also oversee all resident and member enquiries helping to ensure often difficult problems are resolved.
You will be organised and efficient, and have experience of working in a demanding environment. You will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work well under pressure, and work with colleagues to sort difficult problems quickly and effectively. Enthusiastic and motivated, you will be a great communicator and share our passion for getting things right first time.
