About the role

To manage, direct and plan Reactive repairs, Planned and Void electrical works to deliver a quality customer focused service. Ensuring that our Resident’s homes and our assets are properly maintained in accordance with LBH’s processes and management systems.

As an Electrical Qualified Supervisor, you are expected to use your experience within a repairs, maintenance and compliance focused environment and will be experienced in workforce management. You will be organised and able work under pressure, evaluating tasks undertaken by electricians in addition to quality inspections and works surveys to properties and Commercial units in and outside of the borough, within Health and Safety regulations and in line Electrical regulatory guidelines and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the team’s achievement of its objectives, whilst operating in line with LBH’s values, Health and Safety legislation, and delivering the highest levels of quality and customer service to Residents in their homes.
  • To supervise and manage on a day-to-day basis a team of Trade Operatives and Contractors to ensure that they deliver a first-class service to our customers.
  • To deal with all job enquiries and complaints relating to the work carried out by Trade Operatives and Contractors.
  • Manage the inspection, maintenance, and repair of properties and Commercial units to ensure that they are repaired/maintained with a first-time fix approach for Reactive work.
  • To work with the Electrical Operations Manager and client representatives to ensure a high-quality Electrical service delivery is provided in all area’s with regards to the needs of the residents and in accordance with quality systems.
  • To performance manage Trade Operatives to ensure that customer satisfaction and productivity are maximised and the target number of repairs, per day per Trade Operative are completed. For Planned and Voids work, Trade Operatives will be performance managed based on customer satisfaction and completing work within target timescales or specified turnaround times
  • Carry out surveys of properties with reports and remedial works as necessary; prepare work specifications for work to be carried out by Trade Operatives and Contractors.
  • To review all variation requests and completed job information of Trade Operatives and Contractors, for payment to Contractors and invoicing internally in LBH for Reactive, Planned and Void work.
  • Achieve agreed performance targets for the management and monitoring of Reactive daily works.


• Trade City & Guilds/ NQV Electrical qualification. • Full UK Driving License (Manual) • 18th Edition Qualification
