Salary: PO1 £35,217 – £37,038 per annum + 30 days annual leave + bank holidays

Contract: FTC – 12 months

About the role

Hearthstone Domestic Abuse service is the in-house Domestic Abuse team for Haringey’s Housing Demand service. The service provides advice and support to anyone residing in the borough who is or has experienced domestic abuse and VAWG. Hearthstone are committed to providing holistic, practical, and empowering support focusing upon victim/survivor safety and empowerment. Hearthstone work in partnership with internal and external partners to offer a variety of support and advocacy surrounding accessing legal remedy, counselling support, housing related advice and security measures within the home.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated officers to provide a range of support on an outreach basis.

Our ideal candidate will have exceptional skills in providing outreach support and will have an empathetic approach. You will be working in a fast paced and altering environment supporting a range of people across locations with diverse needs including those facing crisis. Having the skills to manage and prioritise a case load and supporting individuals in a trauma informed way to overcome multiple disadvantages, build confidence, self-esteem and achieve tenancy sustainment is essential for this role.

About the team

As a floating support worker, you will be joining a team of dedicated case workers offering a supportive and inclusive environment. The team is committed to working collectively to improve the outcomes for victim/survivors of domestic abuse across the borough.
