Job description

About The Role

This role will bring together and coordinate work on digital inclusion in Haringey. As part of this, the post holder will work together with partners to develop projects to support digital inclusion, including by leading development of a Digital Inclusion Network in the borough.

The post holder will:
1. Build a good understanding of borough wide services and networks supporting digital inclusion

2. Bring organisations supporting digital inclusion together to form a Haringey Digital Inclusion Network

3. Work collaboratively with Network members, residents and other partners to co-develop projects to tackle the digital divide, to secure external resourcing for the solutions developed, and to identify measures of success and report against these.

About You

Essential:
1. A commitment to understanding the needs of residents and organisations and to securing the best possible outcomes through focusing on what is strong not on what is wrong
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
3. Confidence with technological devices and software, including learning about new technology
4. Ability to identify the causes of problems and challenges and work collaboratively to find solutions which address these

Desirable:
5. Experience of improving digital access within a community or for an organisation
