About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer who will be responsible for ensuring that parking activities such as Blue Badge checks, permit auto validation and permit fraud detection/prevention, adhere to local and statutory guidance. The post holder will also be responsible for regularly reviewing procedures and practices to ensure that enforcement actions are carried out uniformly, individuals are treated equally, service quality is continually improving, and our customers have confidence in our processes and systems.
You will be a member of the compliance team that sit within the Parking Service. The team focuses on notice processing and parking income recovery, as well as managing service contracts. It also deals with permit and blue badge fraud which undermines income generation.
About you
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual with a working knowledge of parking legislation, as it applies to income recovery. The right person will have a positive attitude, the ability to investigate complex legal issues as they apply to non-payment of charges, reply to complex correspondence, analyse data, and present information in a clear and concise manner.
