We emphasise teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication and as one of our casual instructors you will play a vital role in ensuring our Centre operates safely and effectively. The Centre thrives as a result of having a team that works well together across departments, giving us an ability to adapt to evolving challenges and find innovative solutions, ensuring our children and young people have the best possible experience during their time with us.

You’ll have experience of leading groups on adventurous activities and of working in a residential outdoor education centre and an understanding of the use of outdoor education in personal and group development.

In addition, you will need to have excellent communication skills and an ability to relate to an motivate young people. As well as being able to lead groups and solve challenges that might arise on your own initiative, you’ll also need to be a strong team player, willing to pick up anything that needs to be done in order to ensure that the Centre continues to function safely and effectively with our customers at the heart of everything that we do.
