Job description

Position: Teaching Assistant

Salary: Scale 4, Point 7  to be pro rata

Hours of work: 36 hours per week Monday to Friday– Term Time Only

Contract Term: One year fixed term ending July 2027 – initially with potential to extend

Closing Date: Friday 3rd July 2026

Interviews: Tuesday 7th July 2027 

Start date :September 2026

We are looking for two motivated, hardworking individuals to join our team of Teaching Assistants. You will mainly be class based supporting pupils with additional needs; working with groups of children of all abilities; and assisting the class teachers in all areas of their classroom practice and preparation. We require individuals who are committed to working within the framework of the school’s policies and ethos and who will contribute to the development of the whole school.
