Haringey Council offers a wide range of benefits which are available to all staff employed on a Haringey Contract. The benefits available may be attractive to staff at different time of their life, from parents to those planning for retirement, but all of them are designed to help you achieve a work / life balance, to give you advice and guidance and to stay healthy.

General & Family Friendly Benefits

 Haringey Staff Discount scheme (the generous discounts available including shopping, travel and leisure discounts including reduction on the cost of family days out)
 Leave entitlement options (in addition to generous annual leave, we have various leave entitlement options in place to cover everything from unforeseen domestic emergencies to time off for caring for a sick dependent).
 Flexible working arrangements (a flexi time scheme is in place to allow staff to be flexible around start and finish times and if they work in excess of the core hours each month additional days off can be taken during the month).
 Flexible retirement options (to ease the transition from work to retirement, staff can opt to reduce their working hours gradually and to take part of their pension)
